The BC Cancer Foundation is the bridge that connects philanthropic support and research breakthroughs in cancer knowledge. As the fundraising partner of the BC Cancer Agency and the largest charitable funder of cancer research in this province, we enable donors to make contributions to leading-edge research that has a direct impact on improvements to cancer care for patients in British Columbia.
The BC Cancer Foundation has been a proud supporter of OVCARE since the program's inception, and through the generosity of our donors we have invested over $6 million into the ground-breaking research undertaken by the OVCARE team. This research is making a difference in the lives of ovarian cancer patients in BC and around the world. The Foundation is pleased to continue our support of OVCARE to advance early detection research and fund initiatives looking at the biological make-up of these cancers to help find new, effective treatment solutions.
