The OVCARE Bioinformatics core facility is located at the BC Cancer Research Centre in Vancouver and is headed by Dr. Sohrab Shah. The aim of the facility is to research, develop and provide world-leading bioinformatics resources for the analysis and interpretation of ovarian cancer genomes profiled with Next Generation Sequencing and other high-throughput genomic technology. Our lab publishes and develops a wide array of computational methods and software for use in the detection of genetic abnormalities in tumour genomes.
