First World Ovarian Cancer Day

May 7th, 2013 - The first World Ovarian Cancer Day will take place on May 8th, 2013. On this day, ovarian cancer organizations from around the world will unite to educate their communities about ovarian cancer and its symptoms. For women living with the disease, and their families and friends, World Ovarian Cancer Day will build a sense of solidarity in the fight against the disease.
OVCARE will be raising awareness by joining Ovarian Cancer Canada Pacific Region at the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery on May 8th between 11am - 2pm, wearing teal and helping to hand out teal ribbons and World Ovarian Cancer Day buttons. Come visit us to show your support and see B.C. Place turn teal!
